CANBERRA, Australia (AP) - Australian companies were more confident of economic growth in January than in December despite a weak U.S. economy and the threat of war with Iraq, according to a survey Tuesday.
The respected Dun & Bradstreet monthly business expectations survey, which looks ahead to the middle of the year, shows companies were more confident in January than December about sound economic growth and rising profits.
