THE merger of Celcom (M) Bhd and Telekom Malaysia Bhd's subsidiary TM Cellular Sdn Bhd is expected to lead to savings of RM1.55bil in operating and capital expenditure for this and next year.
Telekom is hoping for a RM300mil to RM350mil savings in operational expenditure (opex) and RM1.2bil in capital expenditure (capex), Telekom's chief executive Datuk Dr Md Khir Abdul Rahman told StarBiz in an interview.
