TOKYO: Toshiba Corp, Japan’s largest chipmaker, posted a seventh quarterly net loss in a row yesterday but brisk demand for chips in digital cameras and photo-taking mobile phones helped cut the loss sharply from last year.
And the electronics conglomerate, whose products range from Dynabook notebook computers to nuclear power systems, left its earnings targets for the year ending March 31 unchanged despite worries it would fall short owing to a sluggish economy.
