THE construction sector will be one of the prime beneficiaries of the government’s efforts to pump-prime the economy, according to AmResearch Sdn Bhd executive director Gan Kim Khoon.
Gan said that with RM37bil allocated for infrastructure spending in 2003, he expected the award and implementation of public sector projects to start accelerating soon and the construction sector to be one to benefit.
