New markets to boost In-Comix sales

IN-COMIX Food Industries Sdn Bhd expects to record sales of between RM55mil and RM60mil in 2003, as it will be marketing its products in more countries. 

Its managing director Eddie Lim Hun Swee said this after the launch of two new products, Expresso and Milk Tea, in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. 

In-Comix has nine items in its coffee range and seven in its tea range. The coffee range was expected to grow between 5% and 8% this year, and tea products by 12%. 

“In the coffee range, the best selling items are Café White Colombian and Blue Mountain Blend. For tea products, our Green Tea and Lemon Tea top the list,” Lim said. 

The instant beverage manufacturer also sells Kopi-O, Just Café, Coffeemix, Jazz, instant black coffee, Mocca Café, Red Eagle, Eagle Express, Ginger Tea, Red Dates Longan, Chrysanthemum, Cereal and Chocolate

In-Comix was awarded the International Gold Star Quality award at the 27th Star Award Quality Convention in Geneva on Oct 28.
