SABAH’S industrialisation programme is on track with the opening of the state’s first RM10mil cast iron and steel foundry operated by Unimekar Steel Sdn Bhd, according to Chief Minister Datuk Chong Kah Kiat.
In this respect, Chong said that the state government was hoping that proponents of the RM5bil integrated steel mill in northern Kudat would hasten the project.
