FORMER banker Teo Tong Kooi has been appointed managing director of cement manufacturer Tasek Corp Bhd
with effect from yesterday.
Teo, 45, was chief operating officer of Hong Leong Bank Bhd until he resignation from the bank in June last year.
He has more than 18 years of service in the banking industry, eight years of which were spent at Hong Leong Bank. He has also served at Deutsche Bank AG and United Malayan Banking Corporation Bhd.
Teo has a degree in marketing management and an MBA, and is a graduate of Stanford University's business executive course.
