Kerjaya Prospek bags RM398mil coastal protection structure contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary Future Rock Sdn Bhd has secured a RM398mil contract for the construction of a coastal protection structure from Tanjung Pinang Development Sdn Bhd.

In a statement, the construction firm said the works was for the proposed Seri Tanjung Pinang (Phase 2B and 2C) development in Tanjong Tokong, Pulau Pinang.

The contract is expected to commence on April 10, 2023, for a duration of 36 months.

"With the acceptance of letter of award (LoA) from TPD, our year-to-date contract win will amount to RM533.4mil with the latest contract awarded as well as the LoA from BBCC Development Sdn Bhd worth RM135.4mil that was announced on Feb 2, 2023," said CEO and executive director Tee Eng Tiong.

He added that the outsanding order book stood at RM4.7bil.
