Unisem, Huatian trying to meet public spread


Bursa Securities gave Unisem an extension from July 1 to Dec 31 to comply with the public spread.

KUALA LUMPUR: Unisem (M) Bhd and Huatian Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd are still working on a plan to address the shortfall in the public spread requirement.

The company said on Friday it does not meet the requirement as set out in paragraph 8.02(1) of the Listing Requirements where a listed issuer must ensure at least 25% of its total listed shares (excluding treasury shares) are in the hands of public shareholders.
