MELBOURNE/SINGAPORE: Oil prices rose on Thursday as renewed hopes for U.S. fiscal stimulus provided support but worries over rising infections hampering fuel demand could cap gains.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose 13 cents to $40.35 a barrel at 0645 GMT, after jumping 2.4% on Wednesday.
