KLCI gains with global markets but oil continues slump

KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI and key Asian markets saw gains on the back of bullish US payrolls data on Friday, which helped boost investors’ sentiment ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision on Dec 16.

As at 1230PM, the KLCI is up slightly to 1,674.35 points, or a gain of 6.48 points from yesterday’s close.
