WCT rises on news of RM1.1bil TRX project

PETALING JAYA: WCT Holdings Bhd shares rose on the announcement of its 20%-stake JV in CORE Precious Development Sdn Bhd that will jointly develop a residential project in Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) with China Communications and Construction Group (CCCG). This first residential project at the TRX will carry an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM1.1bil.

In a press release, WCT said the project consists of two serviced residence towers and one serviced apartment tower and was expected to be completed by end of 2022.

MMHE shares surge on Petronas job

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd (MMHE) shares spiked in line with news of the group qualifying as a contractor to provide fixed offshore structure works to Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas).

“What would be more of a near-term catalyst would be if MMHE secured a sizeable contract (for example, the multi-billion-ringgit Kasawari contract),” Maybank IB Research said in a report.

Gamuda proposes levy

WeWork in collaboration with Daman Land
