Conviction for Sosilawati’s murder upheld

Ex-lawyer N. Pathmanabhan and two farm hands will hang for the murders of cosmetics queen Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya and three others. However, in a dramatic twist, the Federal Court freed the fourth accused. The case, which has taken almost seven years from the time that news first broke, is the first since 1965 when a murderer was sent to the gallows despite a body not being found.
