Taal Volcano logs 61 seismic events in 24 hours

LUCENA CITY: Taal Volcano in Batangas province recorded 61 seismic activities within 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported on Thursday (Oct 30).

In its morning bulletin, Phivolcs said 41 volcanic earthquakes were recorded. The quakes were accompanied by 20 volcanic tremors that lasted two to 30 minutes.
