Myanmar to hold Third International Textile and Machinery Fair in December

YANGON: The third edition of Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Fair will take place at the Yangon Convention Centre from Dec 5 to 7, state-owned daily The Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Sunday (Oct 26).

The fair aims to enhance China-Myanmar garment and textile businesses, strengthen economic ties between Myanmar and regional countries, explore potential business collaborations and support the development of the Myanmar garment sector, the report said.

The three-day fair will showcase textile products and related machinery from China and Myanmar, as well as micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and made-in-Myanmar products, it said.

The event is expected to attract participants from textile and machinery sectors, including garment manufacturers, suppliers, traders, and local brands, it added. - Xinhua
