Vietnam's automobile import hits record high in eight months

HANOI (Xinhua): Vietnam's import value of completely built-up automobiles hit a record high of US$3.02 billion in the first eight months of this year, local daily Nhan Dan reported Friday, citing data from Vietnam Customs.

The country imported 137,821 completely built-up automobiles during the period, the report said.
