Myanmar commemorates World First Aid Day


YANGON: Myanmar has held a ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw to mark the World First Aid Day, the state-owned daily The Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Sunday (Sept 14).

During the ceremony, Union Minister for Health Thet Khaing Win said that first aid is a crucial part of pre-hospital care, helping patients during transport to the hospital, preventing further injury and increasing survival chances.
