Six killed in India's mine mishap, all bodies recovered after joint rescue operation

NEW DELHI: All six workers trapped in Friday’s mine accident in Dhanbad district have been confirmed dead, after rescue teams of NDRF and BCCL recovered the remaining three bodies on Saturday (Sept 6).

The mishap took place at the Ambe outsourcing project under Angarpathra OP area of BCCL’s Area-4 when a service van carrying the workers was buried under sliding rocks and plunged into a deep pit.
