The opposition People’s Party has yet to decide which camp it might back in the forming of a new coalition government, an official said, as two rival groups vie for its support.

The People’s Party, the biggest force in parliament with nearly a third of house seats, held a meeting of its lawmakers yesterday to discuss the issue and would meet again today, spokesperson Parit Wacharasindhu said, adding its preference was for an early dissolution of parliament and a new election.
