AirAsia Hausboom Festival 2025 returns, uniting 32 top artists at one of the biggest fashion and food festivals in South-East Asia

KUALA LUMPUR: Achieving something consistently and continuously is never an easy task. However, for Hausboom, they have once again proven their capability by announcing the return of the “AirAsia Hausboom Festival 2025 powered by Hotlink” – the biggest annual music and lifestyle event, now back with a bold new concept: “Paint the Town Red.”

On October 11-12, AirAsia Hausboom Festival 2025 powered by Hotlink will return to MAEPS Serdang — bigger, bolder, and louder with the theme “Paint the Town Red.” Red symbolizes energy, courage, and passion — a perfect combination that represents Hausboom, AirAsia and Hotlink.

The epic collaboration with AirAsia makes this festival more than just a music festival. This year, AirAsia joins as the main title partner, bringing a holistic experience that combines entertainment, lifestyle, and exclusive surprises.

As part of this collaboration, Hausboom has launched the AirAsia x Hausboom: Scan & Win Campaign, introducing a special limited-edition label across all 9 flavors with a unique QR Code, available at major retail chains such as 7-Eleven, Kedai Mesra Petronas, Shell Select, AEON BiG hypermarkets, and many other top outlets nationwide.

Every scan gives participants the chance to win exciting prizes, including 10 Unlimited Free Flights for One Year with AirAsia, return flight tickets to 18 destinations, vouchers for AirAsia MOVE, AirAsia RIDE & Ikhlas.com, cash prizes worth up to RM50,000, and free tickets to the AirAsia Hausboom Festival powered by Hotlink. The campaign runs from May 2025 until December 2025, with thousands of winners already announced so far.

According to Azri Zahier Azmi, Chief Executive Officer of Hausboom, “This year also marks the second consecutive year that Hotlink collaborates with Hausboom as an official partner. Hotlink champions greater value for smart spenders, allowing them to enjoy more of what they love. Our collaboration aims to bring more value and rewards to all festival fans."

In line with that, Hausboom and Hotlink are launching four limited-edition Hausboom cans, available in stores nationwide, to provide added value for Hotlink users. By scanning the QR code on these cans, consumers can join Hotlink and access Menang Ahad rewards, where they can win prizes every Sunday.

Total prizes include 1000 free tickets to AirAsia Hausboom Festival 2025 powered by Hotlink, smartphones, prepaid top-ups, free internet and F&B vouchers. Throughout the festival, the Hotlink booth will also be packed with fun activities, exciting lucky draws, and more to add value for smart spenders.

This year, Hausboom is also teaming up with Perodua to deliver an even more extraordinary festival experience. Every ticket holder of the AirAsia Hausboom Festival 2025 powered by Hotlink stands a chance to win a brand-new Perodua Ativa through an exclusive lucky draw, which will be announced live on the main stage during the festival.

This is the first time ever such a big prize is being given away, making the festival not just an exciting music experience but also a once-in-a-lifetime chance to drive home a new car!

Azri Zahier Azmi further added, “For the very first time, Hausboom will collaborate with Pin Yang, the founder of the famous food content platform KL Foodie, well-known on TikTok and Instagram, to bring you the Hausboom KL Foodie Fest — a food festival featuring over 100 unique food vendors, from exciting street eats, viral dishes, to hidden culinary gems. Admission is free, the festival is open from 10am until midnight, and it’s open to all ages.”

Amanda Woo, Group Chief Commercial Officer of AirAsia, said: “Music has always been part of AirAsia’s DNA, with our roots deeply connected to the industry through our founders and the many collaborations we have built over the years. In 2025 alone, we partnered with more than 10 music festivals across regions such as China, the Philippines, Australia and more. We are thrilled to now bring that momentum home with the AirAsia Hausboom Festival 2025.

"This festival is more than just about music; it brings together lifestyle, food, and fashion, and will feature both Malaysian and regional artists, drawing music lovers from across South-East Asia. At AirAsia, we believe music connects people just as travel does, and this partnership with Hausboom is a natural fit as we continue to champion local talent and celebrate homegrown creativity.”

This year’s festival also welcomes 7-Eleven as the official convenience store partner, providing additional convenience for visitors to grab quick bites, fresh coffee, soft-serve ice cream, and their iconic Slurpee. With 7-Eleven on board, the AirAsia Hausboom Festival 2025 powered by Hotlink promises a complete and hassle-free experience for all festival-goers.

Apart from music, Hausboom Lokal Fest 2025 will be another major attraction for visitors. Featuring more than 80 streetwear and lifestyle brands, including SVG, Makerz, Kyrex, The Capcity, along with an exclusive curated thrift collection in collaboration with official thrift partner SOVO. The festival promises an exciting, creative, and trend-forward shopping experience for all attendees.

The star-studded lineup set to rock the festival stage includes legendary Malaysian music icons such as M. Nasir, Dato’ Jamal Abdillah, Ella, Def-Gab-C, Slam, along with other big names like Noh Salleh & Restoe Iboe, Bunkface, K-Clique, 6ixth Sense, Spider, Salammusik, and Gerhana Skacinta.
