MANILA: Typhoon Podul further intensified as it was about to make landfall over southern Taiwan, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday (Aug 13).
Pagasa said Podul and the southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” are forecast to bring rain to many parts of the country on Wednesday.
