Heavy flooding leaves four dead and another four people missing in eastern Myanmar


YANGON (Xinhua): Four people have died and another four remain missing after flooding struck eastern Myanmar's Shan state, a local police officer told Xinhua on Monday.

Heavy rain on Sunday night caused floodwater from the mountain to hit Konesaung village in Pindaya township, washing away five houses and leaving eight people missing, he said.
