Cargo ship sinks seven nautical miles off Yangon River, crew safe

YANGON: A cargo ship sank about seven nautical miles off the Yangon River, but the crew members were rescued.

The cargo ship that sank was sailing on the Yangon-Kawthong-Ranong route. It sank in the early Saturday (July 19) morning, 7 nautical miles off the Yangon River Estuary, at sea.
