Fire breaks out at old restaurant in Telisai

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A fire broke out at the K.K Koya Restaurant in Telisai on Sunday (July 13) night, prompting a swift response from the Fire and Rescue Department.

According to the department, the emergency call was received at 9pm and four fire engines from Bukit Beruang, Sungai Liang and Tutong fire stations were dispatched to the scene. The first unit arrived at 9.11pm.

A total of 16 firefighters were deployed to contain the blaze. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire are still under investigation, and no injuries were reported at press time. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
