Yangon approves eight new investment projects, creating over 6,000 jobs


YANGON: The Yangon Region Investment Committee (YRIC) has approved eight new investment projects in June, aiming to create jobs for 6,773 people, state-owned daily The Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Monday (June 30).

The approvals were made during the YRIC's meeting held in Yangon, Myanmar, from June 24 to June 25, the report said.

The YRIC approved six businesses with 100 per cent foreign investment and two joint ventures with foreign partners in the industrial sector, it said. - Xinhua
