SINGAPORE: A 65-year-old man was taken to hospital on Friday evening (May 23) after the bus he was driving was involved in a collision with five other cars in Kranji.

The police were alerted at about 12.30pm to the collision at 60 Jalan Lam Huat.

Automotive industrial complex Carros Centre is located at the address.

The police, in response to queries, said the bus driver was conscious when taken to hospital. He is assisting with investigations, the police added.

In video footage of the accident - put up on the Singapore roads accident.com Facebook page - the crash appears to have taken place in a carpark outside the storefront of car dealer One Drive Automobile.

Many cars are parked in the area and a white private bus can be seen suddenly driving through.

At least one car appears damaged after the accident, and a set of tables and chairs, as well as two orange traffic cones get knocked over.

The Straits Times has contacted the Singapore Civil Defence Force and One Drive Automobile for more information.
