Cavite province to sizzle at 46°C; ‘dangerous’ heat index in 30 areas


MANILA: Sangley Point in Cavite province will experience a heat index of 46°C on Saturday (May 10), according to the latest bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

This heat index means it is in the “dangerous” category, which is between 42 and 51°C and may cause heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
