South Korea karaoke owner inflicts severe injuries to customer, reports victim as ‘drunk’


SEOUL: A karaoke owner in South Korea has been sentenced to four years in prison after causing injury to a customer, resulting in death, and falsely reporting the circumstances of the case to emergency responders.

Incheon District Court said on Monday (April 28) that it convicted the 56-year-old defendant for the violent assault resulting in death that occurred at around 12.20am on Dec 1, 2024.
