Summer storm and hail warning for upper Thailand

BANGKOK: Several parts of the upper Thailand will experience outbreaks of summer storms, gusty wind, hail and lightning strikes on Tuesday (April 8), the Thai Meteorological Department said this morning.

These conditions are due to the moderate high-pressure system covering the upper Northeast region and the South China Sea, while the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail across the upper country, the department said.
