Farmer yields P6.8mil shabu in Philippine drug bust


ANGELES CITY: Police on Saturday arrested a farmer and confiscated some P6.8 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) from him in a buy-bust operation in Arayat town in Pampanga province, north-west of Manila.

In a statement on Sunday, April 6, the Pampanga police said lawmen arrested the 48-year-old farmer after he sold P5,000 (US$87) worth of shabu to an undercover operative at Mapalad village around 2:50 p.m.
