Cambodian workers exempt from Thai entry and exit fees over Khmer New Year

PHNOM PENH: Cambodians working in Thailand will be exempt from entry and exit fees at Cambodia-Thailand international border gates during the upcoming traditional New Year, which begins in two weeks.

The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training announced on Monday (March 31) that, in accordance with the spirit of joint agreements between the governments and labour ministries of the two countries, no fees will be charged from April 1 to May 15.
