Quake hits 35 km from Santa Maria, Philippines


NEW YORK: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted 35 km east-northeast of Santa Maria, in Bulacan province of the Philippines at 15:41:51 GMT on Monday (March 17), the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.08 degrees north latitude and 126.75 degrees east longitude. - Xinhua
