Strong response to Brunei online haj registration prompts consideration for expansion

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Bruhaj online haj registration service has received a positive response from both the Legislative Council (LegCo) members and the public, with over 6,000 registrations since its introduction.

Of these, approximately 700 to 800 individuals have signed up, including nearly 200 minors, some of whom are under five years old and were registered by their parents. A proposal has been made to expand the service to ensure more people can benefit.

Several suggestions are being reviewed to assess their feasibility. In light of rapid technological advancements, the government underscores the importance of adapting to these changes to ensure that the public remains well-integrated into the digital age.
