Two killed and 15 injured in explosion involving tug boat and tanker off Indonesia's East Java coast


JAKARTA (Bernama-Xinhua): An explosion involving a tugboat and a fuel-carrying tanker near Lamongan, a coastal town in the north of East Java province, Indonesia, erupted into flames on Thursday, killing two people and injuring 15 others, according to reports citing local police.

A preliminary report indicates that the incident occurred at around 6 am local time while the tanker was transferring diesel fuel to the tugboat.
