Govt budget cuts should not hurt people: Indonesian president Prabowo to coalition

BOGOR DISTRICT, Indonesia (Bernama-Antara): President Prabowo Subianto has emphasised the importance of ensuring that the budget cuts implemented across state institutions do not negatively affect public services, particularly those directly tied to the people's rights, reported ANTARA news agency.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, shared this directive after a meeting of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus at the President's residence in Bogor district, West Java, on Friday.
