Cambodia's senate president Hun Sen arrives in Laos for state visit


VIENTIANE (Xinhua): Cambodian Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen arrived at Wattay International Airport in Lao capital Vientiane on Thursday, leading a high-level delegation for a two-day official visit to Laos at the invitation of Lao National Assembly President Saysomphone Phomvihane.

He was warmly welcomed by Vice President of the Lao National Assembly and President of the Laos-Cambodia Friendship Association Khambay Damlath, along with other senior officials, local Pasaxon newspaper reported on Thursday.

During the visit, Hun Sen and his delegation will engage in discussions aimed at further strengthening the long-standing friendship, solidarity, and comprehensive strategic partnership between Laos and Cambodia. - Xinhua
