Patients across Myanmar to benefit from 25 new oncology machines


YANGON: A total of 25 radiation oncology machines (Linear Accelerator-LIANC) are being used nationwide, including newly installed machines, according to the Health Ministry.

These radiation cancer treatment machines are 14 cancer treatment machines at the Health Ministry, including three newly installed machines at the National Cancer Treatment Center in Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township, seven machines in private hospitals and four machines in the military hospital, totaling 25 cancer treatment machines.
