Lessons on flag etiquette in Brunei's Belait District

KUALA BELAIT: Members from the Baden Powell (BP) Guild in the Belait District enhanced their skills in neatly folding and hoisting Brunei's national flag in preparation for the National Day celebration.

Assistant Scout Commissioner of the Kelana Division at the Belait District Scouts Association Razali Abdul Rahman led the class held on January 19 at the Youth Centre in Kuala Belait.

Chief Coordinator of the BP Guild in the Belait District, Beelie Tengah, oversaw the session.

The participants were taught the proper etiquette on folding and hoisting the national flag, following steps outlined in the scout guidebook.

The assistant scout commissioner shared insights into the history and fundamentals of scouting, enriching the participants’ understanding of the movement. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
