MANILA: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr (pic) on Monday (Jan 20) guaranteed that he will not let Senate Bill No. 1979, otherwise known as the Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy Act of 2023, pass as a law.
He cited the measure’s “ridiculous” and “abhorrent” provisions as the reason.
