BEIJING (SCMP): A son in Taiwan devised an ingenious plan and played three different roles to save his father from a cash swindling gang.

He successfully lured the racketeers into believing they would receive further investments, ultimately helping to recover NT$700,000 (US$21,400) after his father had lost the money to the gang.
