Five Indian soldiers killed after vehicle falls into gorge in Kashmir

NEW DELHI: At least five Indian soldiers were killed and another five were injured after their vehicle fell into a gorge in the Jammu and Kashmir region on Tuesday (Dec 24).

The military truck involved in the incident was part of a six-vehicle convoy, local media reported, citing the army.

The incident occurred in the Poonch area near the Line of Control, which divides the Kashmir region between India and Pakistan.
