Cambodia's car tyre exports up 135 per cent in first 11 months of 2024

PHNOM PENH (Xinhua): Cambodia's car tyre exports rose 135 per cent year-on-year in the first 11 months of 2024, said a Ministry of Commerce's report on Tuesday.

The South-East Asian country exported car tires worth US$772.5 million during the January-November period this year, an increase of 135 per cent from US$328.2 over the same period last year.

Penn Sovicheat, secretary of state and spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, attributed the significant growth in the exports of car tyres to the kingdom's successful efforts in promoting exports. - Xinhua
