116 dead due to Tropical Storm Kristine (Trami), over six million affected in Philippines

MANILA: The number of reported deaths due to Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami) is now at 116 while the tally of affected people has climbed to over six million, the latest report from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) showed.

In its 8am situational report on Monday (Oct 28), the agency disclosed that 6,717,755 individuals, or 1,662,416 families, were affected by the inclement weather or flooding brought about by Kristine nationwide.
