Cambodian PM to attend inaugurations of new Indonesian president, vice president


PHNOM PENH: Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet (pic) will attend the inaugurations of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as president and vice president of Indonesia in Jakarta on Sunday (Oct 20), said a press release from Cambodia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday.

"Samdech Thipadei's presence at the ceremony will be a testament to the strong partnership and close relations between the two countries," the press release said.

Samdech Thipadei is the honorific title of Hun Manet.

The Cambodian prime minister's entourage will include Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sok Chenda Sophea, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Mission Othsman Hassan, and Commerce Minister Cham Nimul, the press release said. - Xinhua
