Myanmar's SAC chairman vows no concessions to armed groups, urges national unity

YANGON: Senior General Min Aung Hlaing (pic), chairman of Myanmar’s SAC and Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, firmly stated that the government will not yield to armed insurgent demands, emphasising that conflicts can only be resolved through peaceful dialogue, not violence.

This was part of his address on the 9th anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) on Tuesday (Oct 15).
