The Post learned the man, surnamed Leong, had been sightseeing in the city with his wife and planned to stay until the middle of this month.

He went to the pool on the eighth floor at about 8.37am. But at 9.06am, he was no longer in sight of the CCTV.

His wife told investigators he suffered from epilepsy, heart disease and hypertension.

An initial investigation found nothing suspicious. A postmortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
