Barista Championship showcases top coffee talents

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Khairun Nasrullah Ismail emerged as the champion, impressing the judges with his exceptional barista skills at the Barista Competition Finals at My Town Palace in Beribi on Tuesday (Aug 13).

Coffee Bean Brunei vice chairman Abdul Mun’im Tahiruddin led the panel of judges for the competition.

Coffee Bean Brunei general manager Art Terrado delivered his opening speech and kicked-off the competition.

Mohammad Syukri Mohamad Rosli claimed the first runner-up position, while Mischel Antazo secured second runner-up. Dayangku Nur Haziqah Firzanah Mokti and Nurhaifa Hamizah Jasni finished in fourth and fifth places, respectively.

The event highlighted the talent and dedication of local baristas, contributing to the growing coffee culture in Brunei. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
