Laos unveils electronic Certificate of Origin issuing system

VIENTIANE: The government has launched the enhanced Electronic Certificate of Origin (e-CO) Issuing System, to further facilitate cross-border trade for businesses, in a joint effort between Laos and the United States.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce, with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), launched the system on Wednesday (July 31).
