BANGKOK: Former senatorial election candidate Sonthiya Sawasdee called on the Election Commission (EC) to investigate the alleged irregularities surrounding newly appointed Senator Keskamol Pleansamai’s educational background.

Sonthiya lodged a formal complaint at the EC’s office in Bangkok on Friday (July 12), asserting that Keskamol presented a certificate from a foreign educational institution that is not recognised in Thailand.
