Myanmar Seafarers Federation to host Day of the Seafarer 2024


YANGON: The Myanmar Seafarers Federation (MSF) will host the Day of the Seafarer 2024 at the federation's headquarters in Yangon on June 25, an official from the federation told Xinhua on Monday (June 17).

By celebrating this event, friendships will develop among seafarers, allowing them to share knowledge and experiences, the official said.

The event will include a talk show, various fun activities, and informative sessions on best practices for seafarers, he said.

Additionally, a blood donation ceremony will be held on June 24 to honour the Day of the Seafarer 2024, he added. - Xinhua
